Now how cool is this. Only 10 states have a larger post count then ours and we rank 40th in population!

Thanks for doing that!

Just curious: What is "Portland area?" Just Portland? Or by "area" do you mean Biddeford, Saco, South Portland, Yarmouth, Falmouth, Freeport, Brunswick, Cumberland, 'Salem's Lot, etc.?

I think this is one of the only forums left in the state. Most of the newspapers did away with theirs. The PPH used to have a pretty good forum, but I guess it got a little too rowdy.

PPH still has an online forum and it is rowdy - more confrontation than debate. The rare times I read some of the comments, I find myself thinking there's a whole lotta kids on there, bored with MySpace and Facebook

I don't know how I feel about this......I always felt the one forum was personal enough and not over crowded....and it was easier for me to keep up but if it provides better service then I can grin and bare it.

This was the main issue before adding this sub-forum. We decided to only include nearest towns, so yes to Falmouth, no to Biddeford, etc.

So 'Salem's Lot is out then, eh?

Seriously though, thanks for the answer. Much appreciated.
