Wink Old Town, Orono, Bangor Relocation

I will be attending the University and need to relocate the family. I have four children. We drove through the area and my son liked the looks of the high school in Old Town. Does anyone know if any one school has a better reputation than the other. We are not a family of sports. Most school funds are heavy in that area, but we would like a school with strong music, art and acting departments.

Also, are there any shabby neighbourhoods to stay away from. Or any that are more desirable than the rest?

Thank you M

Milly our youngest son attends OTHS, he really likes it. After having been in a city highschool with twenty times the students, it took some adjusting for him. But it was well worth it.

'Shabby neighborhoods': I think you mean 'bad' ones, this is Maine. I am not sure that either term applies in Maine.

Enjoy your move.
