Default Rental At Alfred And Or Nearby Areas

Ola!

Due to few responses to my posting for a rental at Alfred, NY (near SUNY Alfred University),

Would it be easier to find a shared rental either in Maine and/or Hornell. Which of the two towns is closer to Alfred State College. Please advise. Thanks in advance for your input.

Please note that the student does not drive, does not drink and is very quiet. Are there any means of transportation in the areas mentioned. I would appreciate hearing from you.

You do realize that Alfred, NY is 450+ miles to the closest point of Maine right? Hornell, NY is only about 11 miles, might be a tad better choice.

Either you need a new map or I don't understand your post. Alfred College and Alfred University are an hour and a half west of Elmira, New York in Alfred New York. Alfred New York is some 9 1/2 hours from Maine. Hornell, NY is 10 minutes from Alfred College. I think you should choose Hornell, NY over the 9 1/9 hour ride to Maine. Also since the college is in New York perhaps you'd have better luck in that forum. By the way Maine is a State not a town.
