Is it just me or has anyone else asked them self the question. Yes We are paying Over $135.00 a barrell for the oil that is bought over sea's , but why are we having to pay the same for oil that is right here in the US . no shipping expense , the wells were drilled back when oil was $30.00 a barrell? and they say we are not being RIPPED OFF !

We bought gas this morning for $1.89 a gallon. I can't really remember the last time it was below $2. They also had diesel for $2.15. Unbelievable!

$2.21 here, but we have a rewards shopping card so we save 15 cents per gallon. Use mid-grade which cost us $2.15/gallon. Filled up Sat for only $37.00.

Val, if you have a BJ's membership, they have a gas station in Plymouth and it's usually about 15 -20 cents cheaper a gallon than anywhere else around here. Worth it only if you're going up route 3 already, but thought I'd let you know.

I had filled up for 1.87 last week, but it went as low as 1.81 with diesel for 10 cents higher.

The cheapest place I saw gas in Maine was on route 1, I believe it's in Rockport. It was a Shell station. It was 10-15 cents cheaper than everyone else. This was in mid-October.

Just got gas for $2.07 yesterday in north central Maryland. Cheapest I ever remember in my lifetime for gas is about 85 cents per gallon. Not that I think we'll get that low!

You're showing your age. When I got my license 35 yrs ago last month, the price at the one station in my little town was .32 per gallon.
It was right after they had invented the wheel.
