I do find it amazing folks who buy 100 acres, split off two or four 1-acre lots and sell them. The price of those lots may cover the expense of the entire 100 acres [plus surveying the splits].

I find it dis-tasteful as it encourages sprawl. Houses next to each other on 100' lots, in an area of otherwise 100acre parcels.

I'm not a mile apart from anyone, but there isn't anything across the street from us and I can't see my neighbors.

I like that.

I can stroll along the path in my bathroom in the morning, holding my coffee and saying
" awww.. life is good.
I just do the mad dash when someone is driving by.
