Default Number 17!

After that performance tonight, what is there to say? Unbelievable. I don't know where they found that game they played tonight, but, unbelievable.

The Celtics' performance tonight speaks for itself. Not much else to say, except . . . congratulations Boston Celtics! And thanks for a great season.

I am really happy for KG. I have watched him go nowhere with the Wolves for the last ten years. He definitely deserves it.

They All deserve it. Garnett had a rough couple of games to start out but showed himself the superstar he is in the last couple of games.
Pierce as MVP ...talk about deserving... he kept this team from oblivion for many years! Congratulations Celtics !
I had a green beer from my 1986 World Championship glass with a little green food coloring in it just for luck at the ending buzzer!

As I watched the highlights for a couple hours after the game and all the commentator chat, I got to thinking. I remember the last time in 1986 they won. I watched the final game as well as much of the season. As much as I can anyway because I grew up in NJ. Back then I had to wait for the game of the week on TV or the playoffs to see my Celtics.

Today I suscribe to the NBA channel and can say that I watched about 76 of the 82 Celtic games this year.

To all you Bostonians: I never lived in Boston. Yet I started loving the Red Sox in 1967. In the late 70s started liking the Celtics. In about 1986 I think it was when the Pats were shelled by the Bears was my first year liking the Pats. I never been to Boston Garden but been to Fenway many times. Dwight Evans walked up to me and shook my hand before a game with the Twins.

Congrads to the Celtics. They deserved it more then anyone else. How many records did they break this year? This playoff series?

Rondo was on a rampage tonight stealing the ball. Everyone had fire in their eyes and nothing was going to stop them. They not only beat all the other playoff teams but they beat the refs who never seemed to call accurately.

So after the game tonight the wife says to me: Good now no more sports for a while. I said but the Red Sox.......................

And so it goes................

I think I will go watch the highlights over and over and over some more.
