Community Lends Helping Hand

When cancer patient Sonya Barclay made a plea to a reality show to help her build a new house, her community pulled together to grant the wish that the show couldn't. Steve Hartman reports.

It's a cute little house on Bennoch Road. There have been several fundraisers, some still going on. There's a "spaghetti dinner" coming up,...If you'd like to help in a small way, the Family Dollar by Bell's IGA is taking contributions.

I saw that moving story on the news the other night. It showed the true spirit of the great people who live in Maine!

That reality show has been one that I've watched a lot. Just some formula show that's works for me. Of course I'm tough and never cry. I really enjoyed this outcome even better. Makes me want to get back home now, even more.
