My "guess" would be the Norway,Paris AREA........strictly relying on the 1hr from Sugar Loaf, Portland, and the coast.
A town surrounded by lakes with good schools could be almost anywhere???
can you post the link??

It could also be the Waterville area.
Waterville has 2 colleges, is one hour to Sugarloaf, one hour to parts of the coast and is 10-15 minutes from the Belgrade Lakes region, 10 minutes to China Lake. The public schools used to be good, but I don't know how they rate now. I haven't heard anything particularly negative.

Swing a 60 mile radius from Portland and a 60 mile radius from Sugarloaf. Connect the dots.

I did 50 miles, overlaps the Norway paris AREA
But Waterville would be a good suggestion too.
