Sure is pretty out there this morning, the sun is warm on your skin, the air so crisp!
Makes me glad I decided to play hookie from work today 
I got a pressure cooker, hot bath and pint and quart jars just waiting to be filled with apple jelly, strawberry jam, cinnamon applesauce and canned apple pie filling  |

When I cut across the garden to get to the back greenhouse the ground did something it hadn't done yet this fall - it crunched under my boots. It's freezing.

Ok, this is just TOO freaking cute not to share..
HOW TO PROPERLY HUG A BABY
1. First...find a baby.
2. Second, be sure that the object you found was indeed a baby by employing classic sniffing techniques.
3. Next you will need to flatten the baby before actually beginning the hugging process.
4. The 'paw slide'. Simply slide paws around baby and prepare for possible close-up.
5. Finally, if a camera is present, you will need to execute the difficult and patented 'hug, smile, and lean' so as to achieve the best photo quality.

I'm not sure, but I believe she is the daughter of one of my friend's classmates at UMA.
