I cant see any pale green....so it is some feature in which I am not participating (friends maybe???)
The status is a way of posting info about what's going on as your posting and reading.....you could put in a message, "home alone" or "waiting for a phone call" or "going out to the store soon".........I have no idea why you would want to do that....but you can. I looked up on the About the Forum site and that is about all I got out of it, except you can go to your preferences or settings or whatever they call it and at the bottom...opt out of any "status'.

Over in the "About The Forum" forum, there is a thread about this:
http://www.city-data.com/forum/about...r-friends.html
There are certainly some new features to learn about.

Thanks Ray! I wish the FAQ had an alphabetical index......it would make finding things much easier.

Beautiful pic, Alison! What is your weather like this week? We're still teasing right at 90 degrees every day with cool mornings in the low 60s. Typical for this time of year. Still hoping for tolerable Halloween temps!

Its at 70 right now, but will warm up to close to 80 by noon. Sunny, as usual. Got a cool front coming through on Sat. so it is supposed to be in the 60s in ABQ for a couple of days.
Balloon Fiesta starts Saturday, so hopefully no rain or lots of wind. Looking forward to seeing it. We are going next weekend as hub's company is having their annual party there...free food, drinks, admission, ect.
