Mainers in exiles
For those of you living in "exile" or those of you lucky enough to be in the Great State O' Maine, it is always a pleasure to read the message board at the exiles.com website.
There are pages and pages of entries, most of them from people pining away, removed from their beloved Maine!! Some are hilarious, others tug at your heart

So true! I haven't been on there in months, but that's what lead me here to CD. It was so nice to find others that were feeling the same way I was.
The posts are fun to read, especially when people find out that they know someone else posting in there. I remember seeing a lot of connections, like " hey, I recognize your name, weren't you in my third grade class, how's so and so?"
BTW- the Exile store is a great place to shop! I often sport my favorite "Born in Maine, living in exile" sweatshirt. They have great t shirts too.
"Bowdoinham College" is one that cracks me up. Also "The dirty Lew"
t shirt! LOL!
For those of you interested, check out that site and shop for your favorite Mainer in Exile!

FLM you won't be in exile much longer will you? I see your tag says 14 days and.......
Glad you won't be in exile for much longer. I am on a 3 week exile and I will be back, for a few days, then in exile for 3 weeks, then back in Maine for a while.

Need to update the tag, 8 days and counting!
I'm also glad you'll be back real soon too, summer in Maine can't be beat!

The exile site is how I found this one. I don't go there too often because, for some reason, it makes me more homesick than this MB does. Guess it's all the graphics.
FLM, 1 more week...lucky you. Enjoy
