Calais Area Lunch (Machias, Eastport: houses, garden, to eat)

We're going to get together for lunch on Tuesday, July 1, at noon. Lunch this time is at Nook & Cranny in Baileyville.

Peachie if you get to the point where you'd like to do something else let us know....it's just that the variety in the menu is so great that no matter what I'm hungry for it's there!! and sooooo yummy It's a real treat! I'm looking forward to it--as always!

We love you too, Peachie! I second what Molly said. We love being at N&C because of the variety (and it's sooo cozy!) but we can give you a change of scenery any time.

NO NO... at least not THIS time... this is the first time I will have the chance to eat there! NEXT time we can let her out...

Your all so sweet. I love having you over. It means alot to me that you want to eat there.
Now, I just what you to know...as my friends that we never have to eat there because it's mine.
We will eat there because it's what we have picked.

I too haven't had all the things on the menu.
I'm having something different Tuesday as well.
I can't wait to see you all!!!!

just a quick stop in here before bed I drove by tonight on our way back from going up around those lakes and if you'd been open (it was 9:50) I'd have stopped for that 4-cheeseburger, dust in the hair (LOTS) and all!!

Robin Katy met me at the door when I got home to tell me that she and Taylor were meeting for lunch Tuesday....she just needed a ride!! lol

Corgis called me yesterday...I am looking forward to our lunch and meeting everyone.

I now have a very small veg/flower garden with two tomato plants, a bush cucumber, flat leat parsley, and thyme...yellow marigolds, yellow/purple violas, yellow snap dragons, purple petunias, and blue salvia. In another flower garden, I started Asiatic iris in light and dark pink.

I picked the first cucumber yesterday...yummy.

A neighbor gave me some iris that I planted in the back yard and I found wild roses growing in the back.

I could not find lavender and rosemary at any of the greenhouses...Cedar Lane in Meddybemphs and Eastport were out of herbs. I drove to Machias on Sunday...no luck for herbs.

You know where I spend most of my time...ayup...outside digging in the dirt...finding lots of rocks that I have used to outline the garden and I love it....love Eastport...love Maine.
