Default any dog friendly rentals?

I am searching for a place to live and getting really frustrated. Are there any places to rent that allow dogs? I am looking for a place in Bangor, Orono, or Old Town, I guess whatever place I like best, I am not picky. It just amazes me that I am having this much difficulty finding a place. Sorry for venting. I am really looking forward to the move. I just hope I find a place to live! This forum is great. I love reading all of the great things people have to say about Maine.

Hi! Welcome to the forum! Not sure what your price range is, but I found 30 rentals in the Bangor area on craigslist that allow dogs. Here's the link:

classifieds - craigslist

Hope this helps and good luck!!

I'm surprized you're having difficulty. Now a days landlords usually will just ask for a higher damage deposit and let you have the dog. If after you get in the dog proves to be a nuisance they may ask you to train it better or get rid of it if neighbors complain.

Oh! I get it, he's looking for an apartment that accepts dogs! I thought he was looking to rent a friendly dog. I was going to suggest that you rent him yours.
