I just this morning saw your plans for a meet. I assume that the date is Sept. 6 but don't know if you have settled on a "place" yet. I would suggest the Sea Dog, because if you don't use a special room, when the lunch is over there is a very nice waterfront part with lots of picnic tables that is for anyone that wants to use it and stay as long as you like - weather permitting that is.

I don't think so Peachie! My Daughter and her boyfriend got the use of a beach house on Martha's Vineyard, MA for the week as a graduation gift starting the weekend of the 6th and invited us to visit that weekend.

I'm not all that thrilled about rubbing elbows with the elite though my DW really wants to go. Gotta keep her happy. Nothing is written in stone yet so we'll see what transpires.

well... we were talking about that today at our get together in "Sunrise County. Nice turn out of 7. Maine Writer told me about you not attending. We all were pretty let down. But we understand, well.. not really.. lol but I guess we will have to.

I know it's going to be fun meeting the new people and some of the ones I have had the chance to know already.

As I said nothing is written in stone yet. I think DW is planning on going the 7th anyway so maybe I can sneak up to Bangor on the 6th.....we'll see!

I know for sure I will not be attending the September 6th date at Sea Dog in Bangor. I was reminded by my brother of a prior commitment. That happens to be the date of the Great State of Maine Air Show at Brunswick Naval Air Station featuring the Blue Angels.

Perhaps another time!
