Default Yarmouth Clam Festival

It's not too late even for you folks "from away' to head up to Yarmouth for the Clam Festival!
I fried about a million clamcakes today for the Post #2 Yarmouth Amvets.
We had great fun despite a few quick passing thunderstorms.
There are loads of great Maine foods to sample from shrimp to clams to lobsters and everything in between!
We had a thunderstorm during the parade though that didn't seem to put much of a crimp on things! People toughed it out and the parade participants, though wet, carried on with heads held high!
The Clam Festival truly is one of the Best Festivals in Maine. If you have never been you really owe it to yourself to go.
There is endless music, food, crafts, competitions, and just great fun for the whole weekend.
Go once and you'll go every year!
