I have heard the same thing. I have not seen it in writing. I have negotiated a few rights of way for landowners and none have cost the landowner any money. Once you and the abutter agree a lawyer does need to write up the recordable document.

I would greatly appreciate any ideas.

Thank you
A plasma cutter and generator will do it!

If you are not desperate to get in that day just inject some crazy glue into the lock. Next time he gets there he will be the one needing the generator and plasma cutter.

there is a portion of state land that is landlocked by a hunting lease. we asked the man to open his gates but he says we can not pass. Is that legal in Louisiana to not allow access to state land?

I'd be tempted to ask someone from Louisiana this question.

Maineah, this made me laugh so hard I cried. My husband just walked through the door and thought something was wrong!

Thanks!
