Default Where to stay in Presque Isle?

Hi all-I need to be up at U of Maine Presque Isle this weekend and wondered where should we stay? Any suggestions to (or what to stay away from) would be so appreciated. This will be our first venture into this part of Maine!

Second Budget traveler. Plus it is very close to UMPI. Second choice would be the Northeastland, WAY at the bottom of my list would be a tie between the Northern Lights Motel and the Convention center. If you are at UMPI at all when the staff is there, pop your head into Teacher Certification office on the 3rd floor of Preble Hall (238 Preble Hall) and say hi to my Mother (Mrs. Gordon)

We always stay at the Budget Traveler. They've had me in their system now for years and treat me like an old friend! Good rooms ,reasonable price , nothing fancy but not bad either!
