I have never run into anyone who uses them exclusively. Many people have them in their hunting and fishing camps and they seem to work well. We used one at a cabin at Caribou Lake occasionally for many years. It leaked once but we were able to fix it with simple tools. Why no elecricity? Propane isn't cheap anymore and using it constantly to run a fridge and a freezer has got to be expensive.
