Jobs in Ellsworth
Hello all, well my wife and I were finally able to make our move from Texas and it has been great. Even with all the rain it is much better than 110 degrees in the ashpalt jungle. However, my wife is having a terrible time finding work here, if anyone knows of anything please let us know. Thank you =)

Where abouts are you? and... what kind of work is she looking for?
Congratulations on the move. Some times it can take alittle time to find a job, that's very normal.
It will all turn out.

We are in Ellsworth right off of High Street in a little house we are renting, we own property in Surry but have to wait to build on that for a little bit until we get situated. My wife has years of restaurant experience, and customer service. She has been looking at the local restuarants but all the restuarants that have now hiring signs don't seem to be hiring. Seems odd. So now she is looking for just about anything that provides a paycheck. All of the people we talk to say that it will only get harder to find work with the tourist season ending, I hope she can find something soon.

Well... I wonder if they are forgotten sighs.
For my business (I'm to far away from you) we don't post, but we always take applications because if something happens, we can pull from there ( like most people probably do)
Good Luck, and I'm sure something will come up soon.
I think a job at LL Bean would be fun, beneficial too.

Yeah You Got out of the HEAT!
I am so glad you have escaped Texas. We did so a year and half ago and have never been happier. I'd take cool rainy summers over intolerable heat any minute of the day! I wish you luck on the job search. Be creative search the web, ask your neighbors, visit businesses and put in applications. We knew when we got here we might have to take jobs outside our comfort level. Luckily, we both found jobs that we like and are doing fine now. It just takes a little time and consistent effort! GOOD Luck!!
