Default Monarch ATB binoculars from LL Bean

Hey guys (gals), I just ordered these binos from LL Bean last night in the 10 X 42. Anyone have these and what is your opinion? If you know of a better $300 bino, please give me your thoughts. Thanks, and I'll be using these for the hunting season out west.

I have never heard of 'Monarch ATB binoculars'

My immediate reaction is that if it came from Bean, it is most likely available elsewhere for cheaper.

Since we know that Bean is not the manufacturer [they manufacture near to nothing]. In this case you already know the manufacture so Bean is merely a retailer. So paying the higher price simply because it came from Bean seems spendy.

I've been looking at the same binocs. Amazon has a better price at $245.

MW, just got the Nikons in the mail and they seem pretty nice. Could be that I'm just seeing deer up on the ridge right now and knowing that deer season is around the corner. Sure wish I could hear from other bino users on their thoughts. My wife put the no go on the higher priced Zeis' and Swarz's!

I own a pair of these binoculars. They are really good. Not as good as my Swarofski binocs were, but unfortunately they were destroyed. I have three Nikon Monarch rifle scopes which I really like too. Bean stands behind the product so if you pay extra up front it is worth it in the long run as you can return them five years from now for credit toward a new pair. Try doing that at Amazon .com
