Default Wallingford's in Auburn OPEN!! yum.

This weekend Wallingford's apple orchard is open for business in Auburn. How I long for this time of year. Fresh made apple-cider doughnuts served warm and a tractor ride to the orchard.

Is this commen around other parts of Maine?

It is. It's a great agritourism opportunity for anyone who successfully grows apples.

Kachina1 is on a distinguished road
Thompson's Orchard in New Gloucester is having their annual Bluegrass Festival this coming weekend. A real big event with lots of very good performers. Also, our first ever farmer's market in New Gloucester will be at the Congregational Church Sept 6. Would make a great family outing.
