Good looking plate drama....... I sort of cotton to that Maine4.us moniker....

I like ILBCNU or LUV SNO or for a corvette 2FAST4U, 2OLD4U or for us UT (Tennessee) fans:

I had MA plates for about 5 years that said, BAHHBR. There were always people trying to figure it out when we were stationed at Ft. Riley, KS, but only one person got it in 15 months.

I have my IAH euro sticker on my back bumper. Someone with Vermont plates actually recognized it and spoke to me. Small world.....

After my divorce I put NXTCHPTR on my plate. I thought it was cute.

Maine4.us - I've seen quite a few of those on various other states plates, well, not the UT one.

We saw a blue Ferrari in Vegas that said BLEWBYU. Also, cute.

I got a good chuckle out of seeing a beat-up, but bright yellow Chevy Cavalier with those Wal-Mart "spinner" hub caps that had the Maine license plate, "CSH$MNY." Saw that in Saco.

Another one that was funny was in Provincetown MA, a bright yellow VW Beetle with MA Plates that said, "BIGFLMR." Two young gentlemen were driving it around with the top down and enjoying the crap out of that car.

Thanks for the warning.

I was also going to get a vanity plate that said, "AWESOME" granted it was not taken, then I realized it cost more. So I didn't.

True story.

Vanity plates rock! I got an oval "ME" sticker a few years ago, but was afraid I'd look conceited, since I don't know how many people here would know it was for Maine. Whenever people guess the abbreviation for Maine, they seem to guess "MA" or "MN".
