I have to say I'm with the nudists on this one. If we weren't meant to be nekkid sometimes, we'd have been born with at least fur. When you see kids (especially the 3-5 year olds) they love to be nakie! My kids thought it was the 'funnerest' thing to be! Running around the house screeching like maniacs totally naked.
I think it's a shame that people are raised with a sense of shame with nudity. The Europeans have a much more casual attitude about it and there is less of a body image problem with their teens. I am lucky enough to have relatives 'across the pond' who interact with my kids. Not that let my 13 yo daughter bare all, but she has a healthy sense of self and is not hung up on her figure.

A quick story~
Years ago, I was visiting my sister (one of the uptight New Englanders) and my son was about 6 months old. He started fussing and I knew it was time for him to nurse. I asked my sister where would be a good place for him to be fed and she directed me a bedroom and asked me if my 4 year old niece could see as she did not have any friends that nursed and she wanted her daughter to see what it was all about. I said okay and she sent my niece in.
She came over and asked what the baby was doing and I said that I was feeding him because he was hungry. She looked at me and her eyes got huge. She ran out of the room and screamed "Mom, she feeds her baby her BLOOD!"

(I then had to show her that milk (not blood) comes out!- We've never let her forget that one!)

This was a very interesting thread. I think we got alot of views going and some I never considered. I'm open minded and respectful to everyone on views so this was really good.
