I may be studying in Connecticut, but I haven't forgotten my duty to vote in the election in Searsport.

I haven't fully decided which candidates will get my vote, except one. I know I'm voting for the old codger running in District 2 (John Frary). He is the only candidate that I am looking forward to voting for. The rest of them, it feels like I'm voting against the greater evil, not for the greater good.

Other than that, I'm fairly dissapointed with the choices on the ballot. I don't like anybody on the ballot for President. It seems like we have the choice between more government (McCain) and a lot more government (Obama). Where is the choice for liberty, freedom, and respect for the constitution? Where is the option to tell the government to stay out of the business of sovereign individuals and go back to being the constitutionally limited republic we were founded as?

I have been registered as a Republican since I turned 18, but considering the state of things, I've been considering changing my registration so that I'm not affiliated with any party. I'm quite sick and tired of the way the two-party system -- one that George Washington told us to avoid, a wise warning we have failed to heed -- seems to be screwing the country over.

There are three candidates, not just two.

I'm voting for Ann Barth for Congress and Jay Rockefeller for Senator

Oh, wait! - Were you asking about Maine or Connecticut or wherever some of us are wintering or in holding patterns?

Actually, I believe there were four on the Ballot in Maine. Nader doesn't appeal to me any better than the other two, and I'm not "hippy" enough to vote green.

Don't forget - you can leave blanks on the ballot. You don't have to vote for someone in every race.

Bush blew it!! and will lose this election for Mcaine. I feel bad as I have watched Mcain for years and even though he can be a little more libral than I care for....I think he would have been way better than bush when it comes to reducing the size of governement...but that's just my opinion

Other than 911 and the several wars that followed which I whole heartedly support, there's been just too much goverment growth. I am a registered republican but again....I am not a republican...I lean more liberatarian.

I know I'm not voting for socialism. If I was smart enough to earn it, I'm smart enough to decide how to spend it. I hope to God Barney Frank gets voted out of office. Dumba** screwed us all with the mortgage nonsense by not doing his job and taking too much for himself out of the deal! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

I wanted Romney, but he didn't have a chance against the Washington machine. McCain's not my cuppa tea on a lot of issues, but he's pro-business and so he gets my vote. I sure don't want to see Pelosi, Reid, and Nobama setting the agenda for this country... talk about the axis of evil in politics... I call them the trifecta of doom and gloom!!! lololol

Yeah, it is better to leave it blank if you are not sure then to vote for somebody that you know nothing about.

Yes, I am registered to vote, and I know who I am voting for, but that is of no one's concern but mine and the candidates.
