Status and stuff
Can someone here please explain to me how I put a quip under my name like many of you have on here? It says whatever tag line you've chosen and then it says how many days ago you set it. I've looked in my profile and I don't see where I put it so it will show up. Harumph!
Also.... when people leave you comments, are they anonymous? I have a couple and I'd like to reply to them, but I don't know who sent them... or is that the point? lol I'd like to say thanks, but can't seem to find out how.
I'm not sure if this is where I ask this or if it's even okay to ask. If it's not, please mods, just delete the post. I mean no harm. I'm just having difficulty finding out how to do some stuff on here.

They're rep points. The more points you have the more you can give. I sign my name but it's not required. To leave rep points you click on the scale (center icon) at the top right of a post. A little box pops up. You type there.
It's ok to ask. We all had to figure it out! |

For future reference, Coastal Maine, there is an About the Forum section available through the Forum Jump box at in the lower right of the page. About the Forum has a list of FAQs and a section for specific queries.
As Maine Writer mentioned, reputation comments may be anonmous if the poster desires. However, if some bright bulb decides to play on that anonyminity to send nasty messages, please report those instances to the mods. Their anonymous status will be short-lived.
