Since merging houses from 2 houses into 1, I have had a packrat (like a P.O.D.) holding all my belongings... since I moved into my "now husband's house". Well, we spent all day today emptying the packrat and filling a truck with all the stuff to furnish our house in Maine, as well as everything we want to leave up there that we don't NEED to keep down here until our final trip. We are leaving to drive up to our new house on early Saturday morning for 9 full days! It will be nice to finally stop paying 160.00 a month to store my stuff, sometimes I wonder if by now I could have just bought half the belongings new LOL! We'll be back up in December though! Its so exciting to have so many belongings packed up to bring up there, even if its not the final move yet! Its a step closer though! We are going to set up the kids rooms so when they come up in Dec with us, they will be all excited and know obviously which rooms are theirs. 6 more days!

These kinds of posts always make me feel so warm and nice inside...Like everyone said, good luck with the move! You'll like it up here. Oh, and if you get a chance, come explore the northern half of the state. It has a beauty all its own I think.
