Wow...like minded people on here and I never knew it existed.
Anyway life-long resident of Maine and Waldo county with some deep roots that go back to before this country was even a country. (1757...or 251 years to be exact), so to say I love my town is an understatement. We certainly have it good and need to fight to maintain what we have so that our children can enjoy what we simply call home.
Anyway last week I put together a little slide show of some pictures of this town. Its got an overwhelming agricultural theme because we farm here and while its a hard way to make a living, and only 349 dairy farms are left in the state, we make a go of it nonetheless.
