Pre Christmas Bangor Lunch
Bewitched had a great idea when she mentioned this. I'm sure I'll have to "pop" over to Bangor before the holidays to pick up something for "DH".
If we can meet, where?
When?
Anyone with fresh ideas?

Peachie, have you heard? I'll be up in Danforth in Feb and we're planning a little get together lunch at the N&C! I'm very excited!

I'm ultra excited! I've only heard the wonderful stories about the girls lunches and now I'll be able to join one! I can't wait to try the N&C's great menu and catch up with the CD ladies!

I WILL be ice fishing on what we call "East Grand" lake in Feb. The official name of the lake is Chiputnellcook or something like that. We usually stay at Greenlands Cove Camps. We haven't booked the camp yet, probably will on Monday night though.
Do you fish that lake NMLM?

I fish it in the spring. It is Chiputneticook. That's the official Canadian name. Be careful not to cross the line and fish on the Canadian side without a Canadian fishing license. February is a good time to ice fish that lake. It is one of the last ones to freeze and one of the last ones to lose its ice in the spring. It's over 120 feet deep.

Well from the looks of it, at present at least, my schedule at the store allows me TU, TH and SAT off... so let's shoot for one of those days.
As for where, doesn't matter to me...

NMLM, love you to death and absolutely admire and respect all of your posts here! We've been fishing it for over 25 years! We drive on when we feel it's safe. Our own rules, walk on 3", drive on 6". Usually we just take an ATV or a sled out so we can attend to those frequent WIND FLAGS!
We have our own "secret" cove there where we reel in the salmon like there's no tomorrow!
Care to join us in Feb? We'd love to have you!
