Okay, that's funny right there. ....but if it wouldn't make her more popular, I'd be all for it!

Why aren't her kids being taken away from her? Might they be at risk when they become young teens as well? It seems like the state should at least investigate that possibility. Has anyone complained to DSS or whatever you call it in your state?
Maybe the husband will have the common sense and self respect for himself and the kids to dump her sorry a** and move on. She's a vile troll imo.

On the same topic but from a different angle............does anyone think that there is more of this going on because of the physical differences in Teens these days.......now PLEASE...I am not making any EXCUSES..........
A few years ago me and another male parent chaperoned an 8th grade dance....we were both taken back by some (maybe the majority) of 13 and 14 year old girls....there were more than a few that if they said they were 22....I would have believed them. I also couldn't believe what some were wearing for dresses....all I could think is that they have no idea. And as the night went on it was clear that these were little children trapped inside an adults body....it made me feel a little sick....and appreciative I HAVE BOYS
and I do have teenage boy (14) that’s 5'10" 170 and has facial hair..... so I still worry

Good point, Fly! At the park here yesterday, I noticed a couple of girls who looked to be late teens/early 20s playing basketball a little distance from us. There were several fathers hanging around with their little ones, but unable to keep their eyes off the girls. At one point, we travelled closer to the court area, and it was obvious then that they couldn't have been more than 12-14 - all made up in heavy make-up, low cut tops and tight shorts. If I were their mother........... And where were their parents? Not there!
And, as you stated, that's no excuse for adults who would take advantage of the situation. The kids don't even know what they're getting themselves into at that age.

I think we can see a trend here on the sentencing of males for similar sex charges in Maine. Obviously this is not a comprehensive list, merely the most easily available from my painfully slow search on dial-up.
Frankly, I think that persons such as teachers, who are placed in a position of trust should face even harsher sentencing.

I agree! I might add that ANYONE in a position of trust should face very harsh sentencing, especially family.
And where is the Womens Liberation Movement now? Equal Rights? She should get equal time in prison. I don't see them fighting for that

I think those sentences are grossly inadequate for the crime committed! No wonder sexual abuse is rampant these days!

If they had no prior convictions this is grossly sexist. These sentences are extreme compared to hers. I wonder what the judge was thinking when he came up with this.
