Woman caught having sex with 13 yo will only be a sex offender for 10 years.
A woman caught having sex with 13 yo boy will only be a sex offender for 10 years. But men are sex offenders for life.
A 31 year old Lubec teacher, Tina Mason of East Machias, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail.
She was given two suspended sentences of 11 months in jail, she gave up her teaching certification and will register as a sex offender for 10 years.
For having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy.
Does this seem sexist?

Isolated incident or not, it should be equal punishment regardless of offenders gender.
