We've decided to do lobster for Thanksgiving. Twiggy the cat will be disappointed, since turkey and chicken are like crack to her. We'll still have my husband's great cornbread and sausage dressing, which was always the best part to me.

It's weird but I don't even want to see a lobster until next summer. When the weather changes lobsters fall way down on the list of things I'd like to eat. Maybe some lobster stew ?? That would be ok I guess!

Iron Chef America did a special for Thanksgiving and lobster and duck were two of the main ingredients for an old fashioned Thanksgiving

I am taking a lobster gaspacho as my contibution (or part of it) to a family Thanksgiving feast. WCSH6.com | Portland, ME | Cal Hancock's Lobster Gazpacho
Not everyone there will like lobster.....but there will be myriad cheeses, deviled eggs and dips for apps and turkeys and hams and everyone's favorite veggies, stuffings and cranberry relishes for dinner....The lobster soup sounds festive and it will help out the lobstermen just a little.
Have I ever mentioned how much I love living in Maine!

We'll have some for supper Wednesday, I'll freeze some and make chowder with lobster, shrimp and scallops. Some of them are going to friends.
