Default Christmas Lights up on Main Street

The City of Belfast has put up their Christmas lights.

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. HOHOHO

We have them here as well already. I know Washburn usually puts theirs out around this time also. My Mother also said they had the decorations out in Presque Isle already.

Freeport has had them up for several weeks. LL Bean put up their Christmas Tree last week .....it's nice!

They put them up out here last week. The huge Christmas parade is tomorrow night so they have to have everything done early.

I am torn about the Christmas lights. On one hand they are nostalgic, but then on the other hand they are just really old.
Why fix something that ain't broken...right?
I will have to take some night pictures and post them.
Hey, does anyone have some pictures from 40 years ago? Post them and we could have a now and them look at Belfast.

Who remembers the rotary in front of Post Office square and the Christmas tree?
