New Kitten
DH and I have been thinking about getting a kitten. We thought about going to the shelter as we both believe in adopting animals when possible. However, I was browsing around on Craigs List and saw that someone was giving away a kitten. I emailed back and forth with this lady for two days. She said they needed to get rid of him as he is a curtain climber and they are remodeling. I only have valances or curtains that I want to replace anyway. Usually kittens grow out of this. To make a long story short..we have a new kitten this afternoon. He is extremely affectionate. He is gray and gorgeous. They had picked out the name Ziggy. I am not thrilled with that name..nothing wrong with it but he does not look like a Ziggy. Suggestions please

Cat is always a good name for a cat. Kitty is also popular.

Baxter, Addison (Addison, Me), Acadian, etc., are all good names for a kitty. My 4 year old Tortie and white is named Addison after Addison, Me. Maine Coon I had was named Baxter.
I don't like Ziggy either. lol
Heck, even Augusta's a good name! Call him Auggie!

Lol MW. I had a kitten once that I brought home and he proceeded to eat and throw up. His name was Ralph.

We actually named them Piper (T plays the flute) and Sidney. Sidney could have been Dammit because she was always jumping on the sideboard.

I like the name "Aristotle" for a gray cat.
