The tree topper is an Angel and she won't fit! I wanted to cut the top for her but got voted down.
As for the presents....we haven't wrapped a thing yet!

Awww, that is so nice. I've kept the decorations that the kids have made in school, and they are so proud of themselves when they put them on the tree. I especially like the little gingerbread man that my six-year-old brought home from school today, 'cause it has a picture of my little guy's face in it and it is soooo adorable...my sweet little man

DH has been busy cutting down a row of Leyland Cypress we had planted in our backyard and chipping/shredding the limbs. Really very sad to see the trees go , but some kind of blight has started spreading through them that we can't seem to stop. My point in all this is that, with all the shredding, at least it smells very Christmassy around here!
But! We did plant one of these trees in the front yard, which is still doing very well, huge, and decorated. So we may have a fake tree in the house but a real tree in the front yard.

That's the best, isn't it! So many people do "themed" trees. But what better theme than your life?
