Is a school-age kid old enough to know what a Big Ben alarm clock is?

ROFLMAO!! I have one of those!! It's named "Victoria"...."ACTUALLY, Mom, it's 7 degrees".....but when she does stuff like that, I call her Bradley, Jr.!

Well, we went on our annual Christmas shopping/anniversary lunch trip yesterday. Absolutely HATED the shopping! It was crowded, hot, and we came home still missing two of the three things we really want to buy the girls this year.

At one point, I heard myself say, "I still have to buy for...." and instantly, I remembered our conversation the other day on C-D! Kinda turned my stomach!! I'll be happy to keep my happy/frozen ass in Maine next year and kindly decline coming down for the family Christmas bash where we see all those folks/strangers aka. family members that we only see once a year. They'll just have to make do without us!

Spending the day with the love of my life was wonderful, as usual! We ate our standard seafood meal (I won't say which national chain we had to go to ) and we enjoyed the time together. Today, he's back at the grindstone, and I'm shopping online to find the last items I'd like to pick up.

Our digital thermometer outside has a display inside, and says 12 degrees. It is on the North side of the house so it never gets sun light.

We were down to 8 degrees by our thermometer this morning. It's up to 11 now. Couldn't tell you the wind chill but that gets into relativity....I like to deal in reality. It's REAL cold out!

Wow Peachie 14" is a pretty good dumping. Most of our 2 inches has blown away and we're down to the grass again.

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful! Since there's no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

The wind was HOWLING here overnight. Our power went out a couple times (just for a few moments) and doors were popping open on their own. The guy next door put his dogs out at 1:30 am, we didn't sleep real well here. I much rather have snow than frigid wind! I hope everyone's well and that you have a great day.
