Default Favorite lever gun in .22 cal

Need help in making my choice in a reliable fun plinker that is a lever action .22 What are your favorite models and what are some of the more unreliable makes out there. Also, I've seen a chinese made .22 semi auto breakdown gun that is a knockoff of the browning takedown gun. Anyone have or heard about the chinese version? What do you think? Anyways input on levers and/or the knockoff gun would be appreciated.

Those are nice guns! I have just the one Remington Speedmaster .22 rifle. I have a Beretta .22 semi auto pistol which is very tiny and a Nickle Ruger single six revolver with a .22 cylinder and a .22 win mag rimfire (WMR) cylinder. Those are my plinkers!

That is one awesome handgun. My old Beretta .380 is one of my favorites. The Woodsman is some sort of spook model I bought at Brimfield some years back, complete with suppressor.

Do those lever action .22s have the tubular magazines? I don't know other people's opinions on them, but I'm not a big fan of tubular magazines. I've had a marlin semi-auto and a remington semi-auto with tubular mags and didn't think they worked all that well.

How about a nice Ruger 10/22 semi-auto? I think they are pricey though.

I think that they just wear from so much use. You can get parts for the repeaters. I think mine is from the 60's. The Ruger is a great rifle. Alas, they are all expensive these days!

My hunting Marlins are a .444, and the old reliable '95 in .35 cal.
