Yah, like Russia's such a terrific place. Seems to me, he ought to put his magnificent brainpower to work on overcoming communism within his own country.

PS- with as hard as New England fought for independence from Europe, I hardly think we'll be signing on to that pitiful area as long as there's a breath left in us!!!! Pppppffffffffffttttttttt!!!! What a loon!

Parsing my words rather than reading them as written might confuse you I suppose. I'm not referring to contentious battles against the Old World per se, but rather the entire fight for independence by coming here. The obstacles those who came to the New World faced were enormous and success was painfully won on many fronts, often all at once. I don't know what it's like in schools anymore, but I can tell you with certainty, New England history was pretty well drummed into our heads as kids.

After the colonies became successful, then came the American Revolution. Boston Tea Party, etc., must ring a bell or two.

We New Englanders are a fiercely independent breed to this day because of the past hard struggles of our forebears. I think it will hold us in good stead from becoming part of europe once again, don't you?

The Commonwealth of Virginia seems to hold the fight very near and dear as it was their fight, which a few other colonies helped them with.
