Every time we start passing around New Year sentiments, I think of the scene from Showboat with the drunk Captain stumbling about. It was cute on my college auditorium stage, but in real life, not so much. So, everyone have an enjoyable evening, whatever your pleasure, but please be safe!

It started snowing hard about an hour ago......tiny flakes at times blowing straight across the window.....covering the streets and drives and recovering the lawns.....it will be a good night to stay in and think over the past year.....it included our successful selling of our home and our cross country trip to Maine, the purchase of our new home and getting established in our new home town...the first Christmas in our home....and a multitude of blessings and discoveries.
Let me take the oppurtunity to wish all of you....a Happy New Year....with health, fulfillment of wishes....and all good things.
