The house numbers are also a bit off. I wonder what kind of vehicle they were driving to get the panoramic scenes. It had to be something on the top of a vehicle. Still its a neat feature.

If you want to see the end of the world, take a ride out the airline from Calais. Some beautiful scenery. I followed it about half way to Bangor before I had scroll cramps.

Walking the littl dude up the map on Key St I saw a car at the top of the hill. I wondered f I could get the camera alongside and somehow I did. The car was a lot lower than the camera so I believe it was on top of a van maybe in a dome klie the security cameras in stores.

My granddaughter calls the airline the "road of the never ending forest".

LOL. We were touring streets yesterday, and Brad was trying to find the EMS/Fire station. On one of the streets, we came across an ambulance! We passed it and turned around to look at the front to see that it said DOWNEAST!

Mostly it was kids and 20 somethings tearing it up. It cost too much to keep repairing just to get tore up again. Taxpayers don't like wasting money. The new one at the school seems to be holding up and gets plenty of use. Altho they still write slogans with marker on the slides.

I can't believe that in a town with so much civic pride that the kids would be tearing things up.

IMO, kids will be kids. In any town, village or big city, kids do stuff out of boredom, lack of direction, peer pressure or just to make a mark in life. While it isn't pretty, it happens and in the big scheme of things... it could be a hell of a lot worse.

At least they're not breaking in the back of the Baywatch stealing beer anymore. 'Course it helps that the Baywatch is an artsy gift shop now and not a resterant anymore.
