Interesting how written laws can be interpreted differently by different people.

you have been under fishing .you can only posses 5 fish total.for instence 2 brown 2 bows and 1 land lock, but if you catch bow or brown all day long and thats all you catch then you can only keep what the law allows ,most lakes and ponds is 2.per person.

Honestly I really think he loves it! I only really fish on that "free" weekend in Feb. I just watch otherwise and TRY to stay out of trouble.... A relative gave him a gas powered ice auger a few years back because he didn't need it anymore...he loves his auger...

If we're at camp and it's very windy I stay inside and point out flags. "HEY! Maybe someone should get that." It's hard work but someone has to do it.

When you get the urge to not stay out of trouble you could amuse fellow fishermen with a spud gun. Amuse...shoot...it's all funny as long as nobody gets hurt. Steve has good aim. I stay off the ice when that thing's being used.

I try to stand around and just look good while doing it. A couple snow angels are always fun. I'm a good cheer leader when one is hauled in. I'm wicked good with a skimmer if I see a hole that needs skimming.

I'll point out a flag and then suggest "hmmmm, suppose that's a wind flag?"
I'll comment about how shiners might make an interesting dinner.
Never used the spud gun on the ice....but what a great idea! We had a bad experience using one last yr on the island. We were shooting it from the deck at BIL down on the shore. BIL was ducking behind a big rock and stood up to look up at the wrong time. Took a spud directly to the forehead. It set him back a little, but another beer brought him back to life.
The things we do for entertainment.
