FWIW I already have my seeds from Johnnys! (all except the Kinko carrots that are on back order).
They were indeed Johnny on the spot.

From Johnny's. This order is much smaller because they're too expensive.
I'm stuck at my desk from now til Wednesday. If you want to know why I'm growing something or how to grow something, or anything else, ask. I have time.
Carrots, Sugarsnax (pelleted seed, almost eliminates thinning.)
Eggplant, Nadia
Leek, King Richard
Lettuce, Loma (pelleted seed, summer variety, doesn't bolt until it's hot)
Spinach, Remington
Tomato, Big Beef (seeding sales, people like the size but I'm not thrilled by the flavor)
Tomato, Buffalo (greenhouse, the industry standard; will be started on heat mats in the house and planted in the ground in one of the uhheated greenhouses in early April)
Tomato, New Girl (seedling sales, will grow a few to test)
Winter Squash, Delicata (takes about 100 days to mature in a warm summer. Mine didn't mature last summer. I'll start these in a seedling house and transplant them when they are about three weeks old.)
That's it until I send in my "darn it" list of seeds I realize I forgot to order.

Pelleted and unpelleted lettuce seeds. Plain seed sticks to my fingers. Pelleted seed drops easily.
