Sounds like someone needs to post an original Maine brown bread recipe for us neophytes who have never had it homemade.

My sister just called when she got my email about the blueberries. She said, "You're kidding! They would really do that for you?"
She said she's decided on a soup and sandwich meal with an appetizer and dessert. She'd love to get the recipes for New England Clam Chowder, elston's crab rolls, Italian Sandwiches and wants to know how we can make our own coffee brandy. She's going to make a blueberry cream cheese pie for dessert, so she said let her know how much money we need to send R for mailing us some authentic Maine blueberries.
And I'm hungry!!

No charge. I'm going to a bball game later. I'll pick them up while I'm out. You can really excite her - tell her your future garden was delivered yesterday!

if you guys have time type "brown bread" in the search for this forum.... a long while ago I posted my recipe for baked brown bread--incredibly easy and the taste and flavor is amazing. If you like the flavor of molasses and quick sweet breads then you'll love it!
