how many of us cd people will be out at the tourneys next week?
when i lived in the western part of the state football was the big sport, but here in downeast maine, basketball is it. the games are intense, then fans are even more so. the rivalrys- omg- i have heard every story dozens of times of every good shot, bad call etc...
i have been here ten years now and i will be attending my first tourney game next week in bangor. and like a lot of the people i see in the stands at games downeast, i have no relations on the court, just going to enjoy the experience.

Tourney time is great! I grew up in Bangor and it was the biggest event before spring. All our relatives from the County would be coming down for the games and there was always someone we new to cheer on. When you are a kid you think it is like the NBA playoffs.
