Went outside at exactly 7:44 A.M. to watch and nothing happened!!

I expected a warm gush of air, followed by all the snow melting and green grass to appear.....................?[/quote

Patience.

Thank you;

I get plenty of opportunity to pet my own animal, and I have toured bushes before as well.

I basically remember all of the parts to a bush, so if I came upon one again I would know how to handle it.

I installed an additional 6 taps today, I hope to e getting more sap now.

I do not think that I will make it to Nutkin Knoll with you.

May God bless you.

To celebrate the first day of spring we packed a picnic lunch and headed to the town pier in Bar Harbor. When we got there, we were surprised to see 4 other trucks doing EXACTLY the same thing. Then we walked along the historic 100 year old shore path. Wow... What a glorious day!

Ha my ex BIL tapped trees around his front lawn for years. One year he said to my nephew who was about 12. Bruce, "I'm not getting any sap outta that tree." And my nephew Bruce said, "Daddy, that's cuz acorns fall off that tree"..

So how did all of the Maine Maple Sunday tours go? Everyone said they were doing some sort of Maple deal. What happened?
