I saw this in the on-line BDN this morning. It has a clip from the film mid-way down. It looks like a good one. Can't wait to watch.

Those dedicated people cannot be thanked enough for supporting the troops. They are amazing!

Some of our international airports have a USO room. Manned by volunteers, to provide a hang-out for servicemembers between flights.

I have used USO rooms in my travels.

Such is the more common 'greeting' that US servicemembers see.

Bangor is unique in having a group of VFW / American Legion 'Greeters'.

Let's not forget the church groups and individuals who make a habit of greeting the troops as they come in! T and I have had the privilege of being amongst those greeting troops, and it is a humbling experience. The tears of happiness to be handed a cell phone to call home, seeing all the service men and women wandering around talking to the greeters. They are happy to be back on American soil again, and so glad to have a large greeting! The older women who volunteer are amazing, and I've seen troops who were coming back for a 2nd or 3rd time and would specifically seek out certain ladies for hugs. In particular, one woman named Joyce I knew met those planes day or night, of her own accord!

I have returned from deployment overseas many times.

Each time I was very happy to be once again on US soil.
