Black flies near the coast?

We're in Brunswick. No blackfies yet, and they really weren't a problem for the past two summers. Here, ticks are more of a nuisance than blackflies.

I agree, the Ben's is good stuff. I also have a new citronella soap that I got from Maine Writer that I'm hoping will make a huge difference without having to use the Ben's. It works great for everyone else that I've talked to who has tried it, and it can even be used as a shampoo.

The best thing about black flies is that they don't last!
