It is a good thing. Keeps a lot of hard working folk at the port working. I think you'll see a few more videos and stories before this becomes old news for the papers and tv stations but hopfully things like this will keep coming this way past June. Who knows, we may even get the roads fixed going to Machias. All in all a good day with a lot of excitement. Boy, those things are HUGE!!

The first thing I thought of was the corner at County Road and the cove coming up.... I would have liked to have been there! Now, Caryn posted some pics on Facebook, and it looked as if they were taking them down to the airport. Is that right?

The story in the Tides said they were storing some of the blades on land at the end of the airport until September. They are even going to pay the city for the use of the land.
