I can't edit my post, so I will simply add, where I am,it's not so bad, but I have heard the southern part of ME and the coast has been hammered, along with some places in NH, such as Laconia etc.

I talked to my sister-in-law in Yarmouth and she said it's bad down there. There are a couple of houses either directly on the coast or along a river that are in danger of collapse into the water. There's also a lot of flooding along roads, and more than a few closures. Here in my part of Downeast I think we're doing ok....definately better than that!

I guess you will save on your heating bill by creating your own heat!

Nor'Easter?
I had not noticed, it has been a bit windy though. The goats don't like all this rain. The chickens don't seem to mind.
Temps are warmer, so we have not had the wood-stove going as much. Our radiant floors work well, but when the temps are low the house needs just a few more BTUs to hold us warm, so I light off the wood-stove. But with these warmer temps, we do not need to light up the wood-stove at all it seems.
The roads are fine, getting a bit bumpier though, as the ice is melting, so the pot-holes are no longer filled-in and smoothed out.
If the river ever floods, there is a possibility that our road may get wet in places, but not yet.

Just a bit of rain and wind. I am thankful its not snow. Looks like we are going to miss spring this year and go right to summer. Typical Maine weather.

We are in Bath and had a tree fall 2 houses up and took out the power lines. We went into Brunswick yesturday when the temp in the house dropped to 52degrees. (hubby and I most likely could have made it but good luck keeping a 3yr old under the covers) and went to a hotel. Power came back on for our street this morning. Lots of people are still in the dark though.
Go to WGME web page and see photos of the storm.
