My grandmother used to say something was "boogerish" if it looked spooky or creepy.
Also, someone who was clumsy was "gommy." That one was versatile for her. You could "gom into" something, and "gom" could also be a noun meaning a clumsy person.
Also, if she would use paper plates if she didn't want to "daub up" dishes.

Haha I know all about "gommy" my family says that all the time. My dad uses a slightly different variation though...if you are clumsy you are a "gom-*****".

Oh my goodness. I thought gommy was a real word. But I thought it was spelled gaumy or gormy. Well, you know how we use r's around here. I am always telling my husband, "I have an idear, deah." And have no intention of changing that. But I caught myself saying "Ayuh" the other day and figured I'd better go pick up my knitting and rest a spell.
