Default Differant Foods

Hey all,
I was just watching Strange Foods or Odd Foods or whatever its called with Andrew Zimmern or Zimmerman (wow I didn't pay attention to the show as much as I thought I did) and I was wondering what places in Maine, particularly Southern Maine, sell exotic or just off the beaten path kind of meats? I'm sort of inspired to try something that isn't the normal steak or chicken I've never had venison either, so that would be considered in the "off the path" category. I know this is a strange question but hey, its been raining for 2 weeks nearly non-stop in Saco and I've got nothin' else better to do...

Well, I'm not a Mainiac yet but if you have a GPS unit there's a website that has info you can download to the unit for the Food Channels Diners, Dives And Drive-Ins restaurants they filmed at across the country. I believe there were one or two in Maine. The address is . . .

POI Factory | new & interesting places for your GPS

If you check it out I'm sure some ones done one up for unusual restaurants.

Also has files for all the lighthouses in Maine and
New England, including the Great Lakes.
